A caring, Ofsted-registered early years setting in the heart of Dagenham Village, London, where every child is known, valued, and supported.
Trinity Playcentre is an Ofsted-registered childcare setting located at 130–132 Church Elm Lane in the heart of Dagenham Village, London (RM10). We provide a warm, creative, and safe early years environment for children aged 12 months to 4 years, where every child is encouraged to explore, discover, and grow at their own pace.
Our experienced team works in close partnership with parents and carers to support each child’s individual development. We are proud to serve one of London’s most diverse communities, our staff come from a range of cultural backgrounds and are committed to making every family feel genuinely welcome, whatever their language, faith, or nationality.
We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, guided by Birth to 5 Matters, using play-based learning to help every child build confidence, curiosity, and the skills they need for a happy start in school. Find out more about our childcare and preschool sessions.
At Trinity Playcentre, the safety and wellbeing of every child is our absolute, non-negotiable priority. We are a fully Ofsted-registered setting and operate in full compliance with the EYFS Statutory Framework and the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham’s safeguarding procedures.
All Trinity Playcentre staff hold enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance and receive regular safeguarding training. We have a named Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) at all times. Our full safeguarding policy is available on request from the nursery manager.
We believe every child deserves a childhood full of curiosity, joy, and belonging, regardless of their background. Our values guide everything we do:
Every family is welcome. We are proud of the diversity in our community and celebrate it every day.
We maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, risk management, and child protection at all times.
Our practitioners treat every child as an individual and build warm, trusting relationships with families.
We believe in the power of play to help children flourish, cognitively, emotionally, and physically.
We work alongside parents and carers, not around them. Your insights about your child matter deeply to us.
